Tuition: A 10% discount will be applied to the final tuition rate for families with more than one dancer registered for classes or workshops(immediate family only).
The first month's tuition and registration fee (if applicable; see below) is due upon registration and approval of your dance schedule. Payments can be made using our online registration/payment system or you can mail a chack to The Dance House, 7909 Wadsworth Road, Medina, OH 44256. There are no refunds.
Tuition rates are for the full season (Sept.-June, including studio holidays and one inclement weather day for Monday classes and 2 for all others), not by the number of classes in the month. June tuition will be pro-rated to ½ the regular monthly tuition rate. A full season of dance includes a minimum of 32 lessons. Tuition fees are paid monthly. Tuition is due on or before the first class of the month.
Fall tuition is due on or before the first class of the month. After the 15th of the month, a $10 late fee will be applied unless a valid credit card has been approved for backup. A $20 fee plus bank charges will be charged for any returned checks. Students will not be permitted to participate in studio functions until all fees have been received.
Registration Fees: There is a registration fee of $20/individual, $30/family for students who have not previously been enrolled at The Dance House. The registration fee is $10/individual, $20/family for those who have taken classes in the past. These fees are waived for students who take classes or at least 1 summer workshop/camp in the previous summer.
Missed Classes and Refunds: There are no refunds or pro-rated fees for missed classes or withdrawls. This includes any prepaid classes. Students may makeup any missed classes in another, same or lower level, class in a discipline approved by the instructor. Calamity days that have been figured into regular tuition rates may be made up at the family's discretion. Any cancelled classes that are necessary beyond those 'planned' for will be scheduled and posted on our website and at the studio.
Withdrawls The office should be notified immediately if a dancer needs to withdrawl and prior to the beginning of a new month. Without notification, class space will be held and the person responsible for payment will be invoiced. No refunds will be made for previously paid/charged classes.
