It’s Sweet 16 Recital Season!

Recital season is officially here, and our Sweet 16 celebration is in full swing! This time of year is always busy, filled with excitement, memories, so much fun. From costumes and picture week to rehearsals and recital memories, we are loving every moment of celebrating our dancers and this special 16th season together. Thank you for being part of the excitement—we can’t wait to share an unforgettable recital with all of our TDH families!

Spoonster Photography is thrilled to be shooting our recital and company pictures. Session Cost - There is no sitting cost for group portraits. For individual portraits, a $25 deposit per family (not per child) is due at the time of the session. For all individual portraits Spoonster Photography will email a coupon code for $25 off the price of your order once your pictures are ready.

Payment Options - $25 print deposit can be made via:

• Cash

• Check (made to Spoonster Photography)

• Venmo (send to @William-Spoonster or scan the barcode at the time of your session)

*Photos will be posted by the end of June. Once ready, you will receive an email from Spoonster Photography with a link to online galleries. Using a secure website, you can then select and order prints and have them mailed directly to your home. "

Recital tickets will go ""on sale"" Tuesday, May 19th at noon and all seating will be reserved (no general seating). The seats at the Medina Performing Arts Center auditorium provide a great view of the stage.  Purchase tickets either of the following ways:

• Go to our special TutuTix page on your computer, tablet, or smart phone at https://buy.tututix.com/TheDanceHouse

• Just call 855-222-2TIX (2849) Note that you will need a credit or debit card to buy tickets, and that tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

TutuTix does not allow refunds, but they do allow exchanges for the same value. Everyone will require a ticket, except children under 2, who may sit on a parent's lap. TutuTix charges a small fee for their service.

MiniMovement Dancers: All MiniMovement classes are scheduled in the first half of the show. We encourage our preschool dancers only to join their families in the audience to enjoy all of the incredible dancing that will also occur in the second half. The MiniMovement dancers will need a seat in the audience and we will credit MiniMovement accounts $12 if you purchase your dancer a ticket. Contact Amy if you purchase your MiniMovement dancer a ticket to receive the credit. You will need to order their ticket with the rest of the family’s tickets so that you can enjoy the performance experience together during the second half.

We are thrilled to have our very own online store this year for all of our Sweet 16 limited edition recital merchandise. You won't want to miss these cute limited-edition items! The deadline to order is May 27th. All online recital apparel orders will be available for pickup at the Medina PAC at dress rehearsal. Recital Finale T-shirts and boy shorts (if ordered) will be distributed at the dress rehearsal, as well.

Our Summer session will be here before you know it and we are so excited! Summer classes and camps are so much fun and a perfect opportunity to try something new. Check out our lineup of weekly classes and camps linked here, posted on the studio boards, and available on our website on the Classes page. Early bird pricing will be in place until June 15th so be sure to sign up as soon as registration is available. Online registration opens May 22nd!

All accounts must be paid in full in order for dancers to participate in the recital. You can view your balance and make a payment by logging into your parent portal. If you have any questions regarding your account, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

Does your dancer love to perform? Are they interested in dancing more on stage and auditioning our award-winning competitive Company? We will have a meeting for any parents who have not participated in Company but would like more information on Tuesday, June 9th at 6:15 pm.
