Welcome Back: Lucky Season 17!

Whether your family is brand new to The Dance House or has been dancing with us for years, welcome to Season 17! We are so happy to have our dancers back in the studio and have loved seeing the energy, excitement, and friendships already building. We are looking forward to another wonderful year of learning, growing, performing, and making memories together!

This is our first newsletter of the season, so be sure to watch for these updates throughout the year. They are one of the ways we will help keep you informed about upcoming events, reminders, and everything happening at TDH.

Week of December 7 — Recital Costume Measurements Finalized

December 10 — Recital Costume Fees Due

December 21–31 — Christmas/Holiday Break

One of our favorite weeks of the year is almost here! October 5–8, dancers are invited to bring a friend to join them in class and share some of the fun of dancing at TDH. Friends do not need dance attire—comfortable clothes and socks or dance shoes are perfect. We can't wait to welcome some new faces into the studio! All friends will need the form linked here completed and signed by their parent in order to participate.

Get ready for a little extra fun October 19–22! Dancers are invited to wear a costume or dress up for class during our annual Dress-Up Week. Costumes should still allow dancers to move safely and participate fully in class. We can't wait to see everyone's creativity!

NEW! Daytime MiniMovement Classes

We are excited to add daytime MiniMovement classes to our schedule this fall! Our first six-week MiniMovement Academy session begins Tuesday, October 13, and runs through November 17. These daytime classes are a fun opportunity for our youngest dancers to move, learn, and experience dance in an age-appropriate setting during the morning.

A quick reminder that monthly tuition is averaged across the full September–June season rather than based on the number of classes held in a particular month. This allows tuition to remain consistent even during months with scheduled studio breaks. Autopay is processed on the 9th of each month. Families who prefer to pay by cash or check may do so before the 9th to avoid the 3.5% card processing fee.

Now that we are settling into the season, please take a moment to make sure your dancer has the appropriate attire, shoes, and hair for class. Proper dancewear helps our teachers see alignment and movement while also helping dancers feel prepared and ready to learn. Dress code information is available on our website, and our desk staff is always happy to help with sizing or questions.
